Here we go again. The merry-go-round continues. It’s bike park time again! The pump track is operational and the Mont Chery lift is opening tomorrow (26th May 2018) for weekends only… for now. Here’s our round up of the rest of the summer openings in Les Gets for 2018:

For pedestrian and mountain bikers (VTT or velo tout terrain).
The weekend of Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd June, the Chavannes area will be open.
Chavannes Chairlift will be open from 9.00am to 5.30pm.
Nauchets Chairlift will be open from 9.00am to 5.20pm.
The following pistes will be open:
- Piste des Ecureuils (DH green)
- The Shore (DH blue)
- Tomawak (DH blue)
- Triple 8 (DH blue)
- L’Arpette (DH blue)
- Coaching track (DH blue)
- Le Vion-net (DH red)
- La roue libre (DH red)
- La Déjantée (DH red)
- Free ride du Canyon (DH black)
- Mini jump park
- Jump park
- Cross country trails won’t be marked.
Full (daily) opening in Les Gets is scheduled from Saturday 16th June until Sunday 2nd September 2018.
The brilliant Crankworx World Tour is back for its 3rd year in Les Gets. Gravity riders from around the world will be in town from Wednesday 20th June until Sunday 24th June.
Wibit on the Lac des Ecoles:
The awesome inflatable floaty thing of fun is back in Les Gets for 2018! The lake and the Wibit will open every day (11am-8pm) from Wednesday 20th June until Sunday 2nd September 2018.
Golf – Les Gets:
The stunningly picturesque 18 hole golf course will be open from Saturday June 9th until Sunday 7th October 2018.
Bars and Restaurants:
Recent activity we’ve spotted includes: La Case K2 putting out tables and chairs in the sunshine, Bar Bush re-opening today at 4pm, L’Optrakken have lifted the blinds and will be open for food on the weekends. L’As des Neiges and Le Comptoir have planted the prettiest of planters and are now open for business.
UPDATE: 1st June… Home Burger also appears to be open as does Le Choucas for Savoyard favourites and pizzas & crepes. La Biskatcha restaurant under the Holet La Marmotte is open for lunch and dinner every day from Monday to Friday. Wednesday saw the re-opening of Le Barbylone for beers, tunes and cocktails in the sunshine (or under the canopies!) in the centre of town. They are now open every day from 2pm until 2am! Cheers!
